Will begin identifying seedlings here. Broadcasted some Daikon Radish for soil development in this zone. Soil quality is fairly poor in my opinion.
Plot has a very active bird feeder station & has lots of traffic from rabbits, ducks & squirrels. Very heavy amounts of rabbit droppings & excess bird food. Should be fun to watch grow.
Watch for the conservation mixture returning (oats).
5/9/22 -- Hand broadcasted the Conservation Mixture & White Dutch Clover pretty aggressively. Raked down to dirt to spread the excess bird seed & get better seed-soil contact with this technique to build up this plot. I expect to see lots of black oil sunflower, milo, white millet & wheat seed out & grow in this plot. Debated adding Daikon Radish as a broadcast for spring 2023.
